Farming quickly became a passion of mine after spending time working on a farm in Helsinki, Finland during an international volunteer program.

The trip was inspired by my Finnish heritage and desire to learn more and connect more deeply to my roots. I met relatives for the first time and started to connect to a deeper sense of self.

Not only was I able to connect with the people and animals at the farm, I connected to a simpler way of life, focusing on the importance of agriculture and the lessons that it can teach us.

I knew that I would be incorporating farming into my life, especially the moment I had children. Being able to give my kids a life where they can learn and love nature is the greatest gift in this generation. Although hard work, it’s the work worth doing .
